-
Socially responsible investment
At NAFS, we offer no solution that promotes or supports investment in areas such as weapons, alcohol, drugs, sex and tobacco.
-
Girl’s education and women empowerment
Women must play a major role in our societal development. In order for them to take their rightful place, it is important to focus on their education and empowerment to unlock their full potential.
-
Empowerment of persons with disabilities
People with disabilities in Africa are often relegated to the role of assisted people, often resorting to begging. It is time for this to change. We at NAFS want to empower them through access to vocational training and jobs.
Part of our profit goes to support such causes.
-
Sustainable development
We encourage our staff to adopt green habits by shutting down computers and printers, reducing and optimising printing, reusing/recycling paper, reducing the use of individual water bottles, etc. We promote paperless processes for our customers in order to cut down on paper usage significantly.
-
Financial literacy
We contribute to financial literacy in Sub-Saharan Africa by publishing articles and organising training workshops.
-
Diversity and Pan-Africanism
We believe that Africans must build synergies and reach beyond borders. We stand for true regional integration. Our teams are recruited solely on the basis of competence and not nationality, ethnicity, religion or race. However, we strongly encourage applications from women.
-
Wealth sharing
A portion of our profit goes to the most vulnerable or less privileged in society. We are committed to ensuring that our employees are fairly compensated for their efforts in generating wealth for the company. This is achieved by implementing a performance-related compensation system to reward individual performance. Our profit-sharing system on the other hand is intended to promote team effort.
